He is a member of the NFL Retired Players Association and the NFL Legends Community, and he earned his MFA through the NFL Players Trust tuition reimbursement program. Andre resides in Los Angeles with his beautiful wife, renowned Buddhist meditation teacher JoAnna Hardy.
